Mak Jo Si (aka Mak Ching Yuen 麥清玄), is a Taoist master with Taoism as his life time career. Different from many so-called Taoist masters online or in the world nowadays who only treat Taoism is their side-job, Mak Jo Si devoted his whole life into Taoism and this is what he does for a lifetime career. Now you shall see how serious he is into Taoism as compare to those “Taoist wannabe” out there.
He is specialized in Taoism magic, exorcism, martial arts, chi kung, Feng Shui, divination, and all Taoism related subjects. With his will and desire to seek for the truth of Taoism, his journey of Tao started since he is four years old and he encountered many bad paths during the process of Tao-seeking. After many years of seeking, he found his ultimate path – the true Taoism way – Tin Yat Lineage. Therefore, he opened this Taoist Master Blog to share you all his knowledge in the past!
This blog here will be mostly about Mak Jo Si’s Taoism, Martial Arts, and all the interesting things he want to share with you all.
This blog is owned by Chi in Nature and Mak Jo Si. He is one of the two initial founder of Tin Yat Lineage 天一派 of Taoism. The other one is Lau Jo Si. She seldom post anything here but she will always keep an eye on the blog most of the time and take care of the back-end work to make sure the blog is safe and sound all the time!

What Mak Jo Si Promote and Emphasize
Mak Jo Si emphasize on three things as his motto: Pure Taoism, Zero-Negatives and Virtues. With these three, you can be sure he is not only a genuine but a good Taoist master who know his stuff well.
Pure Taoism means Taoism is Taoism, it’s not a mix or blend with any other things. Taoism is a very unique and massive system of study, it doesn’t involve any other religious belief and cannot be mixed with other religions. Read “What is Pure Taoism” to understand more about what Taoism is about.
Zero-Negatives is simply as it is – no evils, no negative, no bad magic or energy. In Tin Yat Lineage, this is actually one of our main rule for all students as well. If a Taoist sect can tolerate having some evil magic, sorcery, or even mixing in other crap into the lineage, it’s already tainted. Therefore, Mak Jo Si emphasize on this point all the time!
Virtues is very important not only for a Taoist but for any human beings. Please read this “Five Main Virtues” that Mak Jo Si emphasize all the time! Swearing a bit here and there doesn’t take your virtues away, it could be even a sense of humor! You might see Mak Jo Si uses some strong words sometimes in his articles but it’s all about having some humor and not be too “boring” with the academic vibe!
